  • Flesh of 2 ripe avocados, diced
  • ½ small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, grated or finely chopped
  • 1 medium-sized tomato, chopped
  • 10-12 sprigs of fresh coriander, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp chopped jalapeno or 1-2 finely chopped green chillies, depending upon the heat desired
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Salt, to taste



  • In a mixing bowl, mash the avocado with a fork. I prefer my guacamole to be a little chunky – you should go with your preference, smooth or chunky
  • Add remaining ingredients. Stir together
  • Taste and adjust salt and lime as required
  • Serve with tortilla chips (or pita bread / crisps, toasted bread, carrot sticks, or anything else that suits your fancy)
